Discussion:
[Thunar-dev] Feature Request: Add Skip All When Copying

Hi, I would like to make a feature request for when the user is copying a
large amount of files (for example, the entire home folder for a backup)
but does not want to overwrite every file. Adding a "Skip All" button to
the "this file already exists" dialog alongside Skip, Replace, Replace All,
and Cancel, would not only speed up transfer of files but also make it a
much easier and smoother process.

I apologize in advance if the mailing list was the wrong place to post
this, but as it didn't really seem like a bug I didn't think that BugZilla
was appropriate.

Thanks!

I read this list for about 2 years now. There have been several feature
requests and as far as I remember there wasn't a reply ever. You could
as well tell your dog about it. It is not clear if this is the wrong
place to put feature requests or if devs just have to time for it. I
would appreciate someone to throw light on this but out of experience I
do not have much hope.

Take another look at the BugZilla site. There should be a selection
available somewhere on it for enhancements. That may not guarantee a
response, but at least some of the developers would see your request.
